My friends over at Burn Brighter Marketing came to me in need of help working on a re-brand for a surf shop called The Bumwrap. They needed a Whistler logo design that represented their store which sells the latest trends in surf and swim fashion for men & women that also aligned with their key brands sold in the store (such as Billabong, Roxy, Quicksilver, O’neill, etc:).
- communicate brand characteristics of: surf lifestyle, youthful, relaxed, fun, active & fresh
- trendy, fashion-forward
- surf inspired, somewhat vintage aesthetic
- the type rests on a bright surfboard – helping clarify the company’s target market and values
