The Willson Residences was an exciting project for the Bozeman, Montana community. The historic Willson school is being renovated by Bridger Builders and turned into a high-end, modern apartment building right in the heart of Downtown Bozeman, and the client came to Classic Ink seeking help with the branding.
client desires:
- a contemporary logo that represented the building architecture itself possessing both modern and classic qualities and feel tailored and stately
- something that would speak to a younger generation while nodding to a past time
solution:
- the logo icon creates a “w”, with linear elements that mimic the unique roofline and structure of the old building
- contemporary style paired with a more classic, traditional typeface style reminiscent of News Gothic & Helvetica times
